The Beginning of the End: OUT SOON!

LOUR’s new EP “The Beginning of the End” is a brilliant fusion of Middle Eastern and Rock/Electro Pop music (a first of its kind). With its lush production, impressive multi-lingual rhyming, mesmerizing vocals, and bold statements about dying relationships, the challenge of what’s normal, and trying to figure out what comes after the end of a journey, LOUR’s EP takes us on an exciting and emotional rollercoaster. She will leave you wanting more at the end! Pre-Save link for Spotify coming soon…

LOUR first gained notoriety when she went viral on Youtube for her cover of Fairouz’s “Kan Eno Tahoun,” She amassed 41k views and a fast following. While still working on her own music, LOUR kept on releasing song covers, attracting the attention of the artists of the songs she was covering such as Cecilia Krull, EMEL, Issam Al-Najjar, and others. LOUR then gained more recognition after releasing her debut Arab pop song “I’m Coming for You,” which showcased her genre-bending skills and multi-lingual singing abilities, attracting the attention of music editors at QUADIO, who named her the “Artist of the Week.”

From singing indie/pop folk songs entirely in Arabic about a dying love at the Dead Sea to singing rock/punk songs—in more than a single language—about her desires to start a revolution, LOUR’s refusal to conform to typical music genre conventions and her merge of Arab/Pop/Rock/Electro-pop music genres had allowed her to create new, fresh, and exciting sounds.
